I am a wife, mother to four, and a bit of a nerd. I am an avid reader, a coffee-lover, and a Christian.
I decided to pursue midwifery soon after my youngest was born, and began by becoming a labor doula, certified through CAPPA. Soon after, I trained and certified through CAPPA to become a childbirth educator, teaching classes at Preparing for Birth. I have also been a faculty member with CAPPA, training others to become childbirth educators.
After shifting my focus to full-time midwifery training, in 2014, I completed my training in 2018 and am now a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) through the North American Registry of Midwives Portfolio Evaluation Process (NARM-PEP).
I look forward to sharing in your pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and breastfeeding journey!
“I’d like to add some beauty to life…I don’t exactly want to make people KNOW more… though I know that IS the noblest ambition… but I’d love to make them have a pleasanter time because of me… to have some little joy or happy thought that would never have existed if I hadn’t been born.” ~Anne Shirley
